Quadkids Championship

Despite the dire weather forecast, there was a really good turnout for the Hampshire Athletics Quadkids Championships in Portsmouth on Monday this week, with 11 girls and 10 boys competing from WADAC's U10s and U11s. As it happened, the rain held off for most of the day and the juniors put in some excellent performances.
nPhillip Cain and Caitie Croft both finished on the podium for WADAC, with Phillip coming in 2nd place for the U10 boys and Caitie coming 3rd for the U11 girls.
nIt was great to see so many attending and everyone putting in such a good effort.A special mention goes to Oliver Gittins who sacrificed his position and time in the 600m to help another distressed athlete from Havant to complete the race.
