Strong WADAC Performances at the Vitality London 10000

WADAC was very well represented at the Vitality London 10000 road race over the weekend with 14 runners taking part in the Black & Gold. This event hosts the UKA team 10k championships and attracts a big field of runners (12,400 finishers) as well as a host of top quality athletes from all the big clubs in the UK.
nWith three to score we were well represented in the men with George King (34'21), Marcus Green making his WADAC debut (34'26) and Pete Sansome (35'31) all finishing in the top 250. Not sure where that puts us in the team results so lets say no prizes but not too shabby!
nSam Parkinson (42'04 and Top10 in her age cat) led our ladies home and was well supported by Poppy Clements (47'26 in her first 10k) and Melissa Callister (47'51).
