7 go wild in the Medoc Marathon

Taking in over 30 Chateau through the 42km marathon, the usual water stations were replaced with wine, cake, fruit, cheese, oysters, steak and ice cream with live music to keep the runners entertained. The 7 hardy WADAC runners, celebrating the new age category for four of them, took full advantage of all that was on offer.Speed was not the aim of the day, it was all about enjoyment and running with friends.The Rockstars were supported by the groupies (including WADAC Chair and a past chair), with a nod to the 1967 Summer of Love in accordance with the marathons theme of 33rpm.
