WADAC athletes represent Hampshire at Sportshall Regional Final

WADAC athletes Jemima Sullivan, Grace
nWeeks, Annabella Marsh, Oscar Webb & Stan Parkinson were chosen and
nrepresented Hampshire Sportshall at the Under 11 South East Regional match
nlast Saturday at the Surrey Sports Park Guildford.
nThey
nall took part in track races including relays , jumps, throws and agility
ntests. Both teams were 5th out of the 8 teams competing in a very competitive
nevent.
nOscar Webb had a good throw in the Chest Push
nwith 7.25m and was 6th best in the Standing Long Jump with a leap of
n2.07m he also ran legs in the Over/Under Relay and 4x1 Lap Relay.
nStan
nParkinson performed well in the Standing Triple Jump and Hi-Stepper as well as the
n2+2 person Relay.
nAnnabella Marsh had a superb throw in the
nSoft Javelin with a distance of 15.50m plus Speed Bouncing and contributing legs
nin the Hurdles and Grand Prix relays.
nJemima Sullivan and Grace Weeks partnered
neach other in the hard 6 Lap Parlauf in which the duo compete 6 Laps between them.
nJemima also competed in the Obstacle Relay and Hi-Stepper and Grace added
npoints in the Balance Test and Hurdles Relay
