HRRL Race 6: Ryde 10 Mile Write Up and Results
A relatively meagre WADAC turnout of 11 gents and 7 ladies limited our team results but there were still a good number of individual age-category successes and the resultant movements in the league tables were actually pretty favourable.
nLadies' A-team:
n Susy Perry (3rd F40), Jo Curtis (1st F60), Joy Radford (1st F65).
n
nLadies' B-team:
n Rachel Byers, Charlotte Sharman (2nd F60), Shirley Dyson-Laurie (3rd F65).
n
nMen's A-team:
n James Moore, Wayne Bevan (3rd M40), Lloyd Dickson, David Gaskell.
n
nMen's B-team:
n Harry Stow, Colin McManus, Stephen Lowy, Saul Duck.
n
nMen's C-team (incomplete):
n Steve Goodwin, Richard Munro, Jonathan Kane (1st M75).
n
nOur ladies' A-team came fourth of the teams in their division but still stay well ahead at the top of the league table. Our ladies' B-team too remain top of the table having come fifth out of the teams in their division. Unfortunately we had insufficient runners to record a C-team result so they slip from third to fifth in that same table. Our gents' A-team did very well again, coming second of the A-division teams and so ascend to the top of their table. Our gents' B-team too finished second of the teams in their division and so remain at the top of that table with our C-team at eighth.
n
nMany thanks to everybody that took part and joined the overseas adventure!

nSo at the half-way point of the season (6 of 12 races done) with both our ladies’ and gents’ A and B teams all residing in first place in their league divisions we really need to keep the pressure on and make sure we get a good turn-out for the remaining races. Events that still have spaces (at the time of writing) are as below. Please sign up immediately to avoid disappointment (your own and mine).
