RR10 Race 6, Wednesday 12th June, Ampfield Wood/Hursley at 7.30pm

A brand new route this Wednesday at Hursley, Ampfield Woods. Please come and run.
nThe instructions from the race organisers are below so please read and do as requested. It is very difficult to find suitable new venues so we must comply and not jeopardise this venue for next year.
n
nWessex Road Runners and Halterworth Harriers look forward to seeing you for this new event in the RR10 series.
n
nThis is a new venue and if we want to make it a permanent feature we all need make sure things run smoothly, especially from the point of view of the school, IBM and the local landowners.
n
nThe school is out of bounds to everyone except race officials and Waterside Medical. There are no toilet facilities, the nearest cover is in the woods 400m from the finish area. Please keep away from the area around the school.
n
nHow to get there: Leave the M3 at junction 12, through Otterbourne then left on to Poles Lane at the mini roundabout which after 2 miles brings you opposite the IBM Hursley entrance (same as the RR10 in August). The car park is different from the one used in August. It is on the left about 100 metres from the IBM Hursley entrance, just past the entrance to the school. Post code for Hursley School is SO21 2LA. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE OTHER IBM CAR PARKS. As usual, car parking is limited so please try to car share.
n
nThe course length is approximately 5 miles. It is run on grass tracks, woodland tracks gravel paths and a short section of tarmac. Please be respectful of the general public. Ampfield Wood is particularly popular with dog walkers. [Richard Widdop]
n
nCourse map is here. Drop out club is Totton.
