RR10 Race 8, Wednesday 3rd July, 7.30pm at University Fields, Eastleigh

nEastleigh Running Club will be hosting Race Number 8 of the RR10 series on July 3rd 2019 for a 7.30pm start. This will be at the Southampton University grounds just off junction5 of the M27, Wide Lane Eastleigh SO50 5PE. There are 4 drop out clubs, being Hardley, Itchen, Running Sisters and Wessex.

nPARKING: We are once again using the grid parking as per last year. This will be sign posted and will be a one way clockwise drive also as per last year, so please follow the signage and car park marshals' directions. Anyone wishing to leave early please respect the fact that there may still be some runners on the course and therefore be guided by the marshals as when to cross the course.

nCOURSE: It will be a 2-lap course starting and finishing on the inner pitches as per last year of approximately 4 ½ miles. It is a fast flat course and though mainly on grass there is a tarmac section so not suitable for spikes.

nFACILITIES: There are toilets at the start and finish area and additional ones at the main reception block. There is a fresh water tap at the start/finish area, so water will be supplied but not cups so please bring your own or bottles with you. Although we have the grounds booked for us we do not have the exclusive rights so there may be another event taking place at the last minute and in which case the course maybe altered also at the last minute as per previous years.
