Success at English Schools

Well done to those who represented Hampshire in the English Schools today.
nJess Gordon secured a silver medal with a 1.72m high Jump.
nSam Clifton came fifth in the hammer narrowly missing a bronze medal by 15cm.
nGreat performances by the others especially Maddie Turner who wasn’t feeling too well but still managed 62.97 in the 400m hurdles.
nOlivia Busher came fifth in the javelin with a fine throw of 37.75m
nDaniel Thomas, Ellie Livingstone and Dan Kimber competed in the 110m hurdles, 400m hurdles and 80m hurdles respectively but were unable to make the finals. However they performed well against a very competitive field.
