First CC6 results

CC6 is a cross country league were 16 Hampshire clubs compete in 8 Sunday mornings throughout the winter. All the courses are between 4 and 5 miles long. Last season saw both the men's and women's team coming first.The first Sunday of September 2019 saw the start of a new season at Fleming Park. Despite fixture congestion, Winchester was able to attract 15 runners. The women came joint second with 8th, 9th and 10th Charlotte Hoskins, Imogen Emmett and Sasha Tyderman respectively completing the team. Poppy Clement, Madeline Vosser, Carrie Oliver and Sarah Aldridge provided us with strength in depth.The men's team came 5th leading with the experience of Gillett 20th, David Vosser 27th, Pete Curtis 35th and Stephen Lowy 58th. The club was also ably supported by Mark Craven, Derek Smith, Matt Lavers and Keith Flack. Well done everyone.The next race will be on the 13th October Manor Farm, start as usual 9.30am.
