Team Gold and Bronze and Individual Bronze in SEAA Masters for the Ladies in Oxford

Oxford staged the SEAA Masters Cross Country Champs on 7th December and WADAC had two strong ladies teams in the V40 and V50 age groups. It was a great course with all the essentials of good cross country; hills, mud and a long, flat sprint finish across playing fields! Karen Rushton led the ladies home and took V50 bronze in a very competitive field. She was followed by Jane Gandee (5) and then Alison Fenwick (15) in the V50-59 category. They combined to take team GOLD!! The V40–49 team also had a brilliant race; Sam Parkinson (6) Charlotte Hoskins (15) Emma Carter (18) to take team bronze. Overall, as a combined team, they came second - Karen Rushton (7), Sam Parkinson (11) and Charlotte Hoskins (19). No medals for that but it shows our strength!
