WADAC win the second away fixture in the Wessex league

Despite the bad weather, many athletes turned out in the second away fixture at Aldershot to help the team achieve an away win with 90 points between Winchester and second place Swindon. Thank you to all the athletes who turned out especially the u17 boys who represented the team across many events, some of them not their preferred events. Dan Kimber, in particular, ran the relay, 100m and put the shot to help earn valuable points for the team, as did Charlie Cox who ran the 200m, relay and took part in the high jump for the first time, after initially starting out in the endurance events at a younger age.
nThe results are here: http://www.wessexleaguetandf.co.uk/results.htm
nNext match is in Winchester on 11 July (there is also a SAL match). Please contact the relevant team manager if you wish to compete. All u17s and 20s please contact me at chair@wadac.org.uk.
