Results catch up

We further continue catching up on previous results with the weekend of the 12th & 13th June which proved a remarkable one for the club. At the South of England Senior & U20 champs at Bedford Harry Crosby (coach Andy Fisher) took the U20 men's long jump title with a leap of 7.07m and Oliver Thatcher (coach Andy Fisher) won the U20 men's HJ bronze medal with a jump of 1.90m. Sam Clifton (coach Jeremy Clifton) threw a new pb in the U20 men's hammer to just miss out on a medal in 4th place whilst Jess Gordon (coach Tony Bateman) was 7th in the U20 women's HJ.
nSaturday the 12th saw all the various county schools championships take place and this resulted in no fewer than 16 titles for the club's athletes. Lots of athletes took part and won medals, so forgive me if I only mention the title winners, but these were as follows with the two titles won out of Hampshire being Berkshire schools U17 men 800m Ollie Withers (coach Mike Chambers), Surrey Schools U15 girls 300m Arabella Wilson (coach Andy Fisher). The remaining titles were all won at the Hampshire schools champs in Portsmouth these being U20 women 800m Isabella Beck, 1500m Lily Neate, 3000m Hannah Foster (all coached by Mike Chambers). U17 men HJ Gus Bowden (coach Andy Fisher), PV Sello Mtshweni (coach Elias Mtshweni), Hammer Charlie Pond (coach Martin McBriar), U17 women 300m Emma Shedden (coach Gary Bettridge), 80mH Poppy Shroff (coach Andy Fisher), Javelin Liv Busher (coached out of club). U15 boys' 80mH George Musselwhite (coach Andy Fisher), U15 girls' 75MH Carys Jeffries (coach Andy Fisher), HJ Abi Belward & Lois Moore joint winners (both coached by Andy Fisher), shot Abi Belward & discus Rosa-May Sprake (coached out of club).
