Harry selected for GB juniors

17 year old Harry Crosby has made WADAC history by being selected for the GB junior (U20) team for the Manchester International this coming Wednesday. Harry (coach Andy Fisher) has been selected to compete in the long jump and will line up alongside senior athletes from the home nations. Harry will become the latest athlete added to the club’s hall of fame.
nThe Manchester International is a key milestone on the way to the 2022 Commonwealth games in Birmingham and will give the best athletes in the country an opportunity to impress the selectors for those games. Harry will be joined by a small group of athletes from other Hampshire clubs representing GB or England. Full selections at the end of this email.
nHarry has had an exceptional season winning medals in the National championship, the English schools championships and taking gold in the South of England championships. He has been rewarded for his performances which has seen Harry set a new pb of 7.22m this season and his consistency.
nHarry will remain in the U20 age group next season which makes winning the GB vest in his first season at the junior age group even more remarkable and he will travel up to Manchester with the good wishes of the club behind him.
