Grace comes 5th in National indoor U20 Combined event champs

The first national championships of the indoor season took place in Sheffield this weekend as the senior & U20 age groups took part in the national indoor combined event championships.16 year old Grace Colmer (coach Andy Fisher) was the youngest of the 23 competitors in the U20 age group but defied her age to finish 5th with a 3444 points total. Grace started the comp with a run of 9.24 secs in just her 2nd run over the 60m senior hurdles specifications and backed this up with an indoor pb of 1.58m in the high jump. Grace then pb'd with a putt of over 10m with the 4kg shot and long jumped 5.29m to go into the last event in 5th place and therefore in the last 800m heat.
