Young athletes take part in Regional Sportshall final

Sportshall is a fun indoor format of athletics that is available to our youngest athletes in the club. After appearing for the club in the Hampshire sportshall league a number of athletes at U11 and U13 are selected to represent Hampshire in the regional sportshall finals which this year were held on Saturday at their usual venue of the the Triangle Leisure Centre in Burgess Hill.A number of young athletes from WADAC had the honour of being selected for the Hampshire team and a big thanks should go to club stalwart Steve Torrance who stood in at late notice to select the Hampshire squads and act as Team Manager on the day.The U13 girls Hampshire team were 5th with Poppy Crook & Lily Flute both part of the team.
