Charlotte & Calum compete for their universities

The British Universities & Colleges sports indoor track & field champs took place in Sheffield last weekend.This is one of the biggest events in the calender and saw hundreds of students competing at the English Institute of Sport stadium on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.It isn't always easy to spot the clubs athletes as they are competing for their universities but there were definately two performances I can find and it was great to see that the event was livestreamed on youtube by the organisers.Calum Upton (coach David Vosser) competing for Aston University finished 8th in his 3000m heat on Saturday in a time just outside 9 mins 14 secs and Charlotte Longden (coach Andy Fisher) competing for Leeds university came through her 200m heat to finish 6th in her semi final on Sunday with her time of 26.42 secs in her heat being good enough to go 3rd on the clubs all time indoor lists.
