WADAC Vet Ladies Take Home Team Gold at Hampshire League Cross Country

Even the icy rain couldn't put a strong WADAC ladies team off at Popham.
nFirst home was Lucy Elliott, 1st Vet and 10th overall. Then the ladies came in thick and fast - 19th, Ashia Fenwick, 20th, Sian Lewis, 21st, Jane Gandee (3rd Vet).
nEllie Swire was 30th, followed by Kate Green, 37th, and Sam Parkinson, 38th (8th Vet).
nThis meant the Vet ladies won the team event for the race and with a clean sweep over the season they are again 1st Vet Ladies Team.
nSam Parkinson won 3rd place overall in the Vets category closely followed by Charlie Hoskins, 4th, and Emma Carter, 5th.
nIt's been brilliant to be back racing again with old and new faces but what is fantastic about the WADAC ladies is the sense of team spirit and love of the muddy competition!
nI was sad to miss the final race of the season due to the dreaded Covid but ladies, "You Were Amazing"! Can't wait for next year!!
