Stuart books his place in UK Championships

GB International Stuart McCallum (self coached) ran a 3000m UK indoor champs standard time yesterday and therefore booked his place at the UK indoor championships taking place in Birmingham on the 26th February.Remarkably competing in his first event indoors, Stuart went 2nd on the clubs all time indoor lists by recording a time of 8.05.96 mins to finish 3rd in the mens 3000m race at the BMC indoor meeting.Stuart will become the first WADAC athlete to compete at a senior UK indoor championships for some time and with today's announcement of a deal between UK athletics and the BBC you will be able to watch the race live via the red button or on BBC online at 3.50pm on the 26th February.
