Lucia in record breaking form

Lucia Bertacchini (coach Andy Fisher) continued her great form on the indoor circuit with some fine performances at the London Indoor games at Lee Valley on Sunday. Lucia ran 27.09 secs in the 200m to break the clubs indoor U15 record. Formally held by fine sprinter Lauren Fall the record was a strong one and Lucia's performance was all the more remarkable given it was her first run at the distance indoors and she is just 12 years old. Lucia followed this up with a pb leap of 4.77m in the long jump which puts her 2nd on the U15 girls all time indoor list. Lucia was disappointed with her HJ but nobody's perfect.Training partner Zac Reynolds (coach Andy Fisher) ran a pb of 26.71 secs in the 200m to go 3rd on the clubs all time U15 indoor lists and improved his own club indoor record in the U15 boys 300m running 41.56 secs. Zac is also in his first year as an U15.Oliver Thatcher (coach Andy Fisher) continued his great form on the collegiate circuit by going 3rd in the clubs all time 60m hurdles list with a new pb of 8.82 secs on Friday night and followed this up with a 400m of 52.53 secs.
