Moira wins British Masters indoor title

The club is very proud of its strong tradition in vets track & field and this weekend sees the highlight of the indoor domestic Masters season as the British Masters Indoor Champs takes place at Lee Valley.
nMoira West (self coached) ran her fastest time either indoors or outdoors in 3 years in winning the V70+ female 200m race today in an impressive time of 33.94 secs. Moira who topped the V70 200m UK rankings last year added another British Masters title to her long list of achievements.
nKathryn Miles (Elias Mtshweni) won the B final of the V45 female 200m race in an equally impressive 29.91 secs which is Kathryn's fastest indoor 200m race for 4 years and shows that our masters athletes are in fine form.
nTomorrow, the sprinters will be back at Lee Valley for the 60m races.
