It was raining medals on day two as club finished county champs with record breaking medal haul.

Well the weather couldn't have been more different as torrential rain dominated all but the very start and the very end of day two of the County track & field champs in Portsmouth but it didn't put a dampener on performances where once more WADAC athletes continued to shine.

nThe championships were the most successful in the clubs history and if you include medals won at the multi-events and quad kids champs meant a total of no fewer than 43 golds, 31 silver and 25 bronze medals. Congratulations to all the coaches involved but most of all to the athletes themselves who have worked so hard for their success. Well done to those finishing out of the medals, many of whom will have recorded PBs and be back in the same age group next year.
nThe club would like to thank the organisers of the event and the countless volunteers particularly the officials without whom it could not have taken place and it was heartening to see so many athletes thanking the officials after their events.
nThe club will produce an infographic roll of honour showing the name of every medallist which will be displayed in the pavilion building next to the track but in the meantime results can be seen through the link below.
