Club come 5th in latest upper age group YDL match

The fixtures are coming thick and fast particularly for our U17 & U20 young athletes.
nThe latest of these was the 3rd of our upper age group YDL matches which took place alongside our composite partners Portsmouth on Sunday in Harrow.
nThere were some impressive performances on the day with double sprint hurdle U17 womens wins from Grace Weeks & Alice Eyssens repsectively (both coached by Gary Bettridge), a new club record in the hammer from Jasmine Gordon (coach Martin McBriar). Discus, shot & hammer victories from Erin McBriar (coach Martin McBriar) and the same from Charlie Elford-Pond (coach Eric Davison) who also extended his pb in the discus.
nThe composite team finished 5th on the day and lie comfortably in mid table in 3rd place in the league with one fixture to come a home match in Portsmouth in August.

nWe will again be competing in this competitive league (div 1A) next season which is just 1 promotion away from the premier league and the very best teams in the country.
