Vets women triumph in 3rd match of Hampshire vets league

The 3rd match of the Hampshire vets league took place in Southampton on Monday and resulted in a win for the womens team just ahead of the host club. Some impressive performances including a stand out 400m from Sian Lewis saw the women finish 5 points clear in first place which places them 2nd in the overall league standings behind Southampton. The league table shows they probably have a little too much ground to make up in the 4th match to win the league but you just never know.The men's team finished 4th on the day and are 3rd in the overall league standings.
