Vets put in good performances

The 2nd ( of 4) league match of the Hampshire vets league took place at home on Monday and Team Managers Heather and Andy were delighted with an improved performance from match 1.The women were 2nd on the day just 8 points behind Southampton, closing the gap between them in match 1. The team are 2nd in the league table.The men also improved their performance from match 1, recording a 3rd place finish improved from 4th in match 1 and were just 2 points behind Southampton in 2nd place. The team are 3rd in the laeague table.The teams don't have long to wait until their 3rd match with this taking place in Southampton a week on Monday.
