RR10 Ampfield Woods, Race 5 Results

Summer mud and lots of it, greeted 12 WADAC ladies and 20 WADAC men last night at Race 5 of the RR10 series.
nThe course was just over 5 miles long with nearly 400ft of elevation but felt a lot tougher due to the summer mud. There were great, encouraging marshalls and lots of cakes. The course took us through parts of Ampfield Wood not usually open to the public with mud, roots, trees and dappled shade making for a memorable cross country course.
nOur ladies team finished 1st overall and was made up of Vicky Gill 2nd, Ellie Davies 3rd and Helen Oliver 4th. The men's team finished 2nd and comprised of George Porter 6th, Pete Sansome 7th, Dave Gaskell 9th, Andy Parkinson 16th and David Comb 17th.
