Charlie goes over 60m in Bedford

Charlie Elford-Pond (coach Eric Davison) continued his record breaking season by throwing the 5kg hammer over 60m for the first time at the Bigish jumps and throws festival in Bedford on Thursday.Charlie threw the hammer 60.30m to cement his place at no 2 in the UK rankings and improve his european U18 ranking to no 57 and is entering great form ahead of the schools championships.
