Laura flies under 58 secs

The South of England Senior & U20 inter-counties champs took place in Oxford on Saturday.Laura Clark (coach Mark Upton) represented Hampshire athletics against 7 other counties and competed in the 400m where she set a new pb of 57.93 secs to go 3rd in the clubs all time 400m lists. Laura has returned to athletics this year after a 6 year break and can be seen working her socks off on club nights and is a great example that the track & field side of the club isn't just for juniors as we look to build a strong senior team.Also in action in the green and white Hampshire Athletics vest were Amelia Gordon (coach Martin McBriar) who was 5th in the U20 women's discus and Sam Clifton (coach Jeremy Clifton) who won the U20 mens hammer.
