20 WADAC young athletes named in Hampshire Inter-counties teams

The South of England inter-counties champs takes place tomorrow and has a new format for two age groups this year combining the U15 & U17 age groups into 1 championship fixture involving all 19 counties of the Southern region.It is a sign of the current strength of the club that we are providing no fewer than 20 of Hampshire's U15 & U17 team.Representing the U15 girls will be Elsie Brindle (coach Dave Sherry) 200m, Lucia Bertacchini (coach Andy Fisher) 300m, Gracie Osman (coach Andy Fisher) LJ, Beth Mballa (coach Heather Sheffield) SP, Abi McBriar (coach Martin McBriar) discus & jav and Evie Scott (coach Martin McBriar) hammer.For the U15 boys in action will be Oliver Wye (coach Mark Upton) 200m, Ruben Price (coach Nick Anderson) 1500m, Samuel Smith (coach Elias Mtshweni) PV, and Sam Nicholson (jav coach Martin Mcbriar) javelin.In the U17 womens team will be Carys Jeffries (coach Andy Fisher) 400m, Grace Weeks (coach Gary Bettridge) sprint hurdles, Abi Belward (coach Andy Fisher) 300mh & SP, Mia Judd (coach Tony Bateman) HJ, Amy Wall (coach Andy Fisher) LJ and Erin McBriar (coach Martin McBriar) discus.For the U17 men, the following men will be in action, Ollie Withers (coach Andy Fisher) 400m & 800m, Sello Mtshweni (coach Elias Mtshweni) PV, Sam Mballa (coach Heather Sheffield) TJ & Charlie Elford-Pond (coach Eric Davison) hammer.More details can be found on the Hampshire athletics website through the link below.https://www.hampshireathletics...
