Winchester triumph at Ocknell

Ocknell campsite proved to be a successful venue for our Winchester cross country competitors. This new course, a there and back route, provided plenty of challenges, hills and even a ford for our men and women. The men's team took the spoils with Guy Brayn coming 1st, Wayne Bevan 3rd, John Moore 4th and Archie Ives 6th proving an irresistible team. The women's team posted an excellent 2nd just behind a very strong Stubbington team. Ellie Swire continuing her good form from last season coming 2nd, followed by CC6 debutante Sian Lewis 8th and Charlie Hoskins 10th. We had an excellent turn out with 18 men and 7 women packing the course. The next race will take place on the 13th November at Itchen Valley Park, Eastleigh, look forward to seeing you there!
