WADAC Athlete selected to race on the World Indoor Tour.
This year the event moves back to Boston after a couple of years of taking place in NY due to covid. The event will take place for the first time at the brand-new state-of-the-art NB-owned facility.
nNoah Lyles and Jake Wightman, the reigning world champions at 200m and 1500m, respectively, have so far announced their intention to run in the event, as well as double Olympic medalist Gabby Thomas.
nAnnie will compete in the indoor mile event that will see the top U20 athletes from the USA and Europe race against each other.
nAnnie will have her flights, hotel and expenses paid for her by the sponsor of the event, New Balance.
nAnnie said, " I am so excited to go on this trip, it will be a great opportunity to be part of a World Class event and spend time around some of the global superstars of track & field, whether that be at pre-event practice, staying in the same hotel and on race day."
nNow in its 28th year, the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix has played host to nine world records and 16 American records. The 2023 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix will be shown live across America on NBC and on the BBC in the UK.
