Triumph at Itchen Valley Park CC6

As the misted cleared on Remembrance Sunday at Itchen Valley Park 26 Winchester runners competed in the second CC6 race of the season. The new course, muddy and with its varied length, proved fertile ground for our members. Individual and team firsts for both men and women. The women came first, second and third with Kath Bailey, Jane Gandee and Sian Lewis respectively. Kath, Jane and Emma Carter are really bossing their age category results too.

nThe men continued their winning streak with Adrain Faulty (1st), debutante Paul Boyd Leslie (4th), James more (9th) and Pete Sansome (14th). Shout out goes to all the competitors with a strong showing throughout.

nWe are back to the New Forest, Kings Garn Enclosure at Stoney Cross on the 11th December for a Santa special (he normally shows up somewhere on the course), so join the fun.
