Helpers needed for Hampshire Championships

Dear Wadac members and friends and family supporters It’s that time of year again when a lot of our athletes are preparing for the prestigious annual Hampshire Cross Country Championships. Nearly 100 members have signed up to compete, that’s one ninth of the club! This year Hampshire athletics have sadly lost a lot of the Marshals and supporters who would normally help direct our athletes round the course, and as a consequence they are in desperate need of any help Wadac supporters can give.
nAs we are the biggest club in Hampshire, Pam Rogers would be hugely grateful if any of you could volunteer to help out on the course, particularly as the course has had to change this year due to groundworks and our athletes will need extra help knowing where to run! You need no experience, just enthusiasm and a very warm coat!
nSo that all our athletes have the best experience possible, please give some thought as to whether you could help out as a marshal volunteer, the more the merrier.
