WADAC athlete Annie Mann took to the Eurostar this weekend following selection to compete in her first World Athletics Cross Country Tour Gold event.

Hoping to escape the sub-zero temperatures in the UK proved fruitless at the snow-covered World Athletics Cross Country Tour Gold event in CrossCup in Hannut on Sunday (22).
nAnnie said - " I have always wanted to run an XC event in Europe, but this one felt more like a tough mudder with freezing conditions and man-made obstacles placed on the course to hurdle over."

n"I am only 16 so I have got 4 years racing in this age group so hopefully, my hurdling technique might have come on by the time I get to the top of my category!"

nAnnie finished 12th overall with English athlete Innes Fitzgerald taking the win.
