Kathryn wins Southern Counties Sprint double

Kathryn Miles (coach Elias Mtshweni) recorded a double sprint gold at the Southern Counties Masters champs at Lee Valley on Sunday.Kathryn ran 8.78 secs to take the V50 womens 60m title and in doing so was a couple of hundreds of a second outside of Sue Van Vuuren's indoor age group club record.Kathryn then ran an impressive 30.25 secs to add the 200m title to the shorter spring crown creating her 4th masters indoor 200m club record by adding the V50 record to those she already holds at V35, V40 & V45.Kathryn will now head off to Sheffield next Weekend to compete at the British Masters indoor champs where an impressive 517 entries have been received across all the Masters age groups.
