In an astonishing couple of days down under, throws coach Jeremy Clifton (self coached) has bagged no fewer than 2 world transplant age group world records, 3 world transplant games gold medals and a silver medal. On Thursday Jeremy pushed the 6kg shot out to 11.12m to break the club V50 age group record and take the age 50-59 shot putt gold and yesterday, Jeremy started the day by setting a new world transplant age group record of 1.61m to take gold in the age 50-59 mens high jump. He followed this with another world transplant age group record of 33.79m to take gold in the age 50-59 mens discus and finished the day completely exhausted but with his 3rd medal of the day after throwing 36.36m for silver in the age 50-59 mens javelin. What an amazing couple of days it has been and the gentle relief of the Fremantle doctor blowing on those aching muscles and 4 shiny new medals to bring home makes it an experience never to be forgotton for Jeremy.
