WADAC youngsters triumph at Hampshire schools combined events champs

The Hampshire schools combined events champs took place in a sunny Andover yesterday with 6 WADAC youngsters being entered from their schools to take part.Rebekah Smith (coach Andy Fisher) took the inter-girls title recording pb's in both high jump & 800m in doing so.The other 5 competitors in the junior boys and girls event are all training partners coached by Andy Fisher and in the junior boys age group Zac Reynolds defended the title he won last year recording pb's in high jump, long jump & shot putt. Sam Evans was 5th with pb's in hurdles & shot putt.Gracie Osman won the junior girls title again defending it from last year with solid performances across all events and Lily Flute was 2nd securing that place with a fine run in the 800m sealing the runners-up spot. Anais Andrews was 6th and had a pb in high jump.Rebekah, Zac, Lily & Gracie will now all take their place in the Hampshire schools team for the regional schools combined events champs to be held in London at the end of June.
