Annie goes 4th in the world

Annie Mann (coach James Mann) goes from strength to strength as she smashed her pb to record a time of 4 mins 18.65 secs in coming 2nd in the 1500m at the BMC meeting at the University of Birmingham yesterday.
nThis performance is both a commonwealth youth games (U18) qualifying time and a European Junior Champs (U20) qualifying time and puts Annie at 4th in the world in the 2023 U18 1500m lists and the first non African.
nProviding the perfect birthday present for coach and Dad James, Annie's performance earns her a whopping 1060 world ranking points which might just be the highest ever achieved by a WADAC athlete and will move Annie considerably up the world rankings when they are next published on Tuesday.
