WADAC youngsters win first LAG YDL Match

Despite earning promotion to a league clearly better in standard, our U13 and U15 young athletes have absolutely no fear of whoever they are competing against.
nIn the first match at home on Sunday in division 1A of the South section of the Youth Development league, the team won a comfortable victory against strong opposition in spring sunshine.
nThe field eventers were particularly strong especially in the throws but it was the breadth of the performance across run, hurdle, jump and throw that stood out. There were too many winners of their event in both A & B strings to mention but the results speak for themselves and the young athletes will head to league match 2 in Twickenham on the 3rd June, full of confidence.
nHuge thanks to all the officials that gave up their day to ensure the match went ahead and to the Bertacchini family for providing the lunches for the officials to ensure they were well looked after.
