Sam breaks club record again

Sam Clifton (coach Jeremy Clifton) increased his pb further with the senior weighted hammer (7.26kg) on Monday as he competed for Birmingham University at the British Universities & colleges champs in a wet and windy Manchester.
nSam spun his 4th round throw out to 52.56m which breaks his own (absolute) club record and was good enough for 6th place on the day which was no mean feat given Sam was ranked the 9th best competitor going into the competition.
nSam will be competing higher claim for Sale Harriers in the NAL this season but WADAC remains his first claim club and he will be wearing the WADAC vest in championship events and will still compete for us in the SAL when he is back from university.
