Vicky breaks age group mile record

The Hampshire mile (may day mile), walks & 3000m champs took place along with the multi-events and quad kids champs in Portsmouth on Monday.
nVicky Gill (coach David Vosser) was the first lady home in the mile races and broke the clubs V40 mile record in the process with a time of 5 mins 21.9 secs. Alice Humphries (coach James Mann) was 13th in race one of the two mile races.
nIn the 3000m races, Sam Wilkinson (coach Nick Anderson) won the U17 mens age group race and Seb Murray (coach James Mann) was 2nd in the U15B age group with Oliver Foden (coach James Mann) 8th in the same age group. Kate Atkinson (coach Nick Anderson) was 3rd in the U15 girls age group.
nIn the walk races, club stalwarts Nick Fleeman (self coached) and Derek Smith (self coached) both won their races in the V60 & V65 age groups respectively, with Derek breaking his own age group club record, well done fellas.
