Harry breaks club long jump record

Decathlete Harry Crosby (coach Andy Fisher) continues to have the collegiate season of his life in the States as he broke the clubs long standing long junp record at the Buffalo Invitational meeting in Canyon Texas on Sunday.

Harry leapt out to 7.57m to break the mark of 7.38m set by Sam Adams 10 years ago and this places Harry 4th in the UK long jump rankings to go alongside his 3rd place ranking in the decathlon. As with any decathlete, staying injury free has been the secret of Harry’s improvement this season and of course the Texas sunshine helps too.
