Harry sparkles Stateside

Decathlete Harry Crosby (coach Andy Fisher) set no fewer than 7 pb’s on his way to getting over 7000 points in the decathlon at the David Noble Relays in Texas at the weekend.

Harry set pb’s in the 100m and 400m on Friday running 10.85 secs and 48.93 respectively then returned on the Saturday to record further pb’s in the 100mH (15.40), pole vault (4.40m, good enough for 3rd place on the clubs all time list), javelin (46.59m) & 1500m (4 mins 29.27 secs). This all added up to a huge pb points total of 7073 which goes 2nd on the clubs all time decathlon lists and just 100 pomits or so behind Dean Showler-Davis’s club record.

Harry is thriving in junior college in the Texas heat at South Plains but despite this has renewed his club membership for 2024 and we are proud to call him a WADAC athlete.
