Alex brings home relay silver to add to his individual bronze

As 4 x 400m mixed relay ends track action at Commonwealth youth games

Alex Beck (coach Mark Upton) took the lead leg yesterday in the mixed 4 x 400m relay, the final event of track & field. In a thrilling battle with Guyana across all 4 legs, the english team just got overtaken in the last leg and Alex therefore takes a silver medal to add to the inidividual 400m bronze he won on Tuesday.

Both Alex & Annie now have the closing ceremony to look forward to before returning home and receiving a warm welcome back at the Winchester track.
