Kathryn Takes Bronze

Kathryn Miles (coach George Ogilvie) took home a bronze medal in the V45 category 60m sprint at the British indoor masters championships at Lee Valley at the Weekend. Kathryn ran a seasons best time of 8.59 on Saturday and was only just outside her V45 indoor club record of 8.56 set at the same championships last year.Kathryn also ran the 200m by her own admission a little far these days but still managed to break her own V45 indoor club record in her heat yesterday running a more than respectable time of 29.95 which wasn't quite good enough to make the final.Full results of the British Masters indoor champs (it is never too late to take up track & field) can be found through the following link.http://bmaf.org.uk/british-mas...This is the second individual National bronze medal within a month for the club following James Lewis's 3rd place finish at the National cross country U13 boys champs in February with the U13 boys also taking the team silver medal at the same event.
