Strong performances in RR10 2021 season

The RR10 season was shorter and more concentrated this year due to the lifting of COVID restrictions in July, rather than our usual start in April.
n5 races condensed into 5 weeks. There should have been a 6th race in the 6th week (our drop out race) but due to difficulty in Southampton AC obtaining permission from Eastleigh council this race was cancelled and will be rescheduled for the first race in next year's season and this is when the results will be finalised for 2021.
nWADAC had an excellent season and our men's team will finish as the champions, this may be joint, depending on the final race result. We really benefitted from some of our very fast men running regularly, the last time our men's team won was in 2005! Our ladies team also did a fine job and will finish 2nd overall.
nOur highest placed male runner is Archie Ives with a PFB (% of the field in the same category that they beat) of 96.93 and Archie ran in 4 of the 5 races.
nSusy Perry is our highest placed lady with a PFB of 93.28 and also ran in 4 out of 5 races.
nThank you all for running and taking part on a Wednesday evening. We enjoyed lots of new members being a part of the fun and hope you will all join us next spring when the new season will start.
nFinal thanks must go to our club member Alan Tulip who is the results master, process's and presents all the results with some fascinating breakdowns and detailed information on all the races. These can be found on www.rr10.org.uk .
