Another strong performance in the Hampshire Road Race League

Tamsin Anderson was 1st woman in a hilly and windy race with Sarah Gurney, Jo Clarke and Sam Parkinson coming 3rd, 6th and 7th respectively which meant a clear win for the women’s A team. Karen Rushton & Karen Hazlitt came 2nd and 3rd in their age categories and performed very strongly for our B team.
n David Gaskell came 7th for our men’s team in 59:10, Nick Wood & Simon Stevens both came 3rd in their respective age categories with Steve Oliver, 2nd in his age category.
n Well done to everyone who braved the windy ferry and raced.
n Ryde is the 6th out of 10 races in the HRRL. We wait to see how these results will affect the team standings with both our women’s and men’s A teams currently in first place. Our B teams are 1st (men) and 2nd (women) in division B.
