WADAC Ladies to the fore at Netley 10k

Lovely conditions at the Netley 10k (if you don't mind a bit of rain) meant a chance of some fast times....one of those days to be happy you are running and not spectating.
nOur ladies made the most of it with Tamsin Anderson winning the ladies race in 37'27 and well ahead of the field. Sarah Gurney's strong run to second place (and first in Age Cat) plus good support from Emma Carter (3rd in age cat) and Susy Perry left our ladies A team clear winners and continues their amazing winning run. Our B team were 3rd in the B race (Joy Radford 1st Age Cat) but the C's were incomplete.
nWithout the headlines of the ladies our men's A team packed well to finish 2nd with fine runs from Rich Bidgood (34'50, 7th & 1st Age Cat), Dave Gaskell (9th), Nick Wood (15th & 2nd age cat) and James Moore (20th). The men's B team were 4th in the B race (SteveO 2nd Age Cat) and the C team 9th (Alan Tulip 3rd Age Cat) - three complete teams again, well done guys.
nOne race left to go - the Alresford 10k on 19th June - there are still places available so let's make an effort for a big end-of-season turnout. Our ladies A look nailed-on to be champions but our men's A have slipped to 2nd and could do with a win at Alresford to keep their chances alive.
