RR10 Ridge Farm, Race 6 Results

It was a very warm and sunny evening on Wednesday at Ridge Farm (The Outdoor Learning Centre) near Romsey for Race 6 of the RR10 series.
nThis was a brand new venue and offered lots of parking, great facilities and 3 laps of the cyclocross course on grass and some woodland, resulting in quite a technical course that was just over 4 miles long.
n12 ladies and 16 WADAC men turned out to run whilst 141 ladies and 236 men took part in the whole race.
nOur ladies team came first. Ellie Davies was our first lady home (3rd), Ellie Swire (5th) and Sarah Gurney (8th). It is also worth mentioning that our ladies B team came 4th overall comprising of Emma Carter (9th), Claire Jackson (13th) and Sarah Witt (24th).
nOur men's team managed to hang on to an overall position of 4th whilst the team finished 12th in this race. Andy Parkinson was our first man home (13th), Theo Roberts (53rd), Matt Gleed (54th), Bracken Dawson (62nd) and Thomas Bosley (79th).
nWell done all.
nRace 7 is on Wednesday 7th July (at the earlier time of 7pm) revisiting the trails at Hamble Country Park.
