U17's & U20's finish 3rd in 2nd YDL UAG match

The 2nd of the clubs 4 matches in the upper age group Youth development league took place in Bournemouth on Sunday. This league is for U17 & U20 young athletes and is one we take part in with composite partners the City of Portsmouth AC. The club finished 3rd on the day which along with our 2nd place finish in match 1 places us comfortably in 2nd or 3rd place in the league (div1A) and this is a strong showing in a league we were promoted into for this season.There were some strong performances by athletes from both clubs and perhaps understandably with so much competitions just now along with exams in these age groups we had some gaps in events which we couldn't fill. Highlights included double jump success (both LJ & HJ) from U17W Mia Judd (jumps coach Tony Bateman) and treble throws success (hammer, shot discus) from U17M Charlie Elford-Pond (coach Eric Davison) and full results can be seen through the link below.https://www.ukydl.org.uk/page4...
