Lucy breaks British age group record

What a season the clubs track & field athletes are having and Lucy Elliott (coach David Vosser) became the 3rd WADAC female to break a british age group record this season in the 5000m at the BMC regional event at Tooting Bec on Wednesday evening.Following in the footsteps of Moira West (V70, 60mi) & Arabella Wilson (age 15 300mh), Lucy ran a blistering time of 17 mins 36 secs flat in the 12 and a half lap race to go into the British Masters records books for a new V55 female 5000m record.Needless to say this also sets a new age group club record and Lucy really is in top form just now having set age group club records in 800m, 1500, 3000m & now 5000m in the space of the last 4 weeks.Also in Tooting, U15B Seth Noott (coach Nick Anderson) set a new pb of 2.13.81 secs in the 800m.
